Hi, is there anyone here who can draw a diagram of the pulley and tackle set up for running backstays?

Hello, there are many ways to rig up Running backstays. A standard block and tackle with a 4:1 will do. You can run then though cams to a winch to tighten them, or to a dedicated cleat. Most have a Fiddle at the top, and then a fiddle with a becket and a cam right on the block. This way you can move them forward and attach them just aft of your aft lowers when running and reaching. When making the wire portion it is good to make sure you can still make them tight when in the stowed location and still make them tight. Are you running an Inner Forstay?
